The Beautiful King Room features beautifully decorated interiors with an inviting vibe. The communal dining experience is unique, with tables adorned in charming settings, perfect for enjoying an really good breakfast that highlights local Cornish ingredients.
The en suite bathroom in the Beautiful King Room felt a bit cramped, which might limit comfort for some. The absence of a TV in the room might be disappointing for those who enjoy entertainment in their private space. A small fridge would be a welcome addition to store drinks or snacks.

There was no TV in the room, which I would have preferred. I also needed more hanging space for my clothes.

The breakfast choices were fantastic, with high-quality, fresh options. I loved the beautifully decorated dining room. It created a warm and inviting atmosphere to start my day. My room, the Beautiful King Room, was spacious and comfortable, with a charming view over the gardens filled with flowering rhododendrons. The gardens were a peaceful retreat. I would have appreciated a small fridge in the room for convenience. And a TV in the bedroom would have been nice, although there was a lounge area with one. The stay was enjoyable, with attention to detail showing throughout the hotel.
